Narrate Students exists to form safe community between students and leaders in which we can honestly converse over real life and how the person of Jesus can be helpful. We aim to have these conversations in a way that is engaging to individuals regardless of where they are at in their own spiritual journey. In addition, we aim to serve those outside of the Narrate Students community in tangible ways.

HIGH SCHOOL

NON-FICTION

Nonfiction is for high school students in 9th-12th Grade. Nonfiction exists to form safe community between students and leaders in which we can honestly converse over real life and how the person of Jesus can be helpful. We aim to have these conversations in a way that is engaging to individuals regardless of where they are at in their own spiritual journey. In addition, we aim to serve those outside of the Nonfiction community in tangible ways.

Non-Fiction meets every Tuesday night from 7:00 – 8:45pm at 326 Fuller St, Helena.

WHAT DOES A NON-FICTION GATHERING LOOK LIKE?

We do two things that we believe are vitally important. First, we seek to develop relationships within our Nonfiction community. The gatherings begin with opportunities to connect with one another over conversation, snacks, and games. Second, we try to take faith and make it applicable to real life. Typically this happens through a group conversation guided by Narrate Church’s Sunday message. In this discussion, we process how the content can be helpful to everyday life, regardless of where individuals stand in their beliefs and circumstances.

ABOUT NON FICTION LEADERS

Nonfiction is led by Josh Sonnenberg,  Colleen Martin, and Mikey and Kelsey Tommerup. Josh is on staff at Narrate Church as Leader of Student Teams and Creative Production and has worked extensively with students in church and education. Colleen, Mikey, and Kelsey are all veteran leaders of students in a variety of contexts and enjoy interacting with students during gatherings and also investing into students in the everyday.
